About Me
Just in case you're wondering, I'm the less attractive one on the right. On the left is my amazing wife, Karen.

When I was 36, I would cry on Sunday nights knowing I had to work on Monday for 5 days before my next weekend. I hated my job more than I can express in words, and I have a pretty substantial vocabulary. I felt defeated because I didn't have any marketable skills other than producing morning radio.

One night, while speaking with Karen she asked me what I would do in life if there were no barriers. I said I wanted to fly airplanes since I was a little boy. January 7th 2016, I took my first flight lesson.
My goal was to fly my butt off on the side while continuing my full time job so I could get out. I was being offered less money for more work in radio and no one wants to do that!

The goal was to be in the right seat of the flight deck by age 40. 2 months and 23 days before my 40th birthday, was my first flight as an airline pilot. This blog is how it all happened...
