Who didn't want to be an astronaut when they were little?

Dreams
Yesterday, my wife and I went to the Museum of Flight in Seattle to see the Columbia vehicle (pictured above) and moon mission exhibit.
Wow! What an amazing achievement!
I remember watching the movie Space Camp when I was a little kid and thinking how cool it would be to be an astronaut. I think that being an astronaut is truly the embodiment of knowing that anything is possible.
Can you imagine what people thought of the guy who said, "You know what, we should send a human to the moon, have them walk around for a while, collect some rocks and stuff, and then fly them back home. Whaddya think?"
But that's it where it all started. Some people who had an idea and were crazy enough to think it was possible.
I think the recipe for dreams is really the same no matter what you want to do.
You have to figure out what sets your soul on fire.
Seek out people who have what you want and spend some time with them to find out how they did it.
Believe that we are all the same and if it was possible for someone else to have what you want, then it is also possible for you to have what you want.
Work hard for as long as it takes to get what you want.
It's freeing to know that all of us are capable of anything we want to be or do as long as are willing to pay whatever the price is.
In the immortal words of Journey. Don't stop believin'.
Until next time.
